Barbara Payne

BS, LMT & Founder

Barbara is the founder of B.Payne.Free Therapeutic Massage. She has almost two decades of experience working in collaboration with medical doctors, chiropractors, physical therapists, acupuncturists, and personal trainers. These collaborations and experiences have given her the ability to assess and treat a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions:

Derek Wong

LMT

A graduated with Cum Laude honors from the Swedish Institute College of Health Sciences Massage Therapy program, Derek began his journey as a client of Barbara before becoming her mentee and fellow LMT at the practice. As a mentee of Barbara, Derek is well versed in the modalities offered at B.Payne.Free.

With a training background in his heritage of Chinese Kung Fu, Derek has a deep understanding of the body’s capabilities of movement through mind-body connection and provides a dynamic touch in his massage technique. Derek is detail oriented and is committed to facilitating optimal health of musculoskeletal conditions.

While Barbara has been healing from long COVID, Derek has been able to easily transition into caring for many of the practices long term and legacy clientele.

Viktoriya Kernystka

LMT

Graduating at the top of her class she came highly recommended from my trusted friend & colleague at The Swedish Institute. Viktoriya has a background in dental medicine since 2008 (Doctor of Dental Medicine/DMD back in the Ukraine!). She has been in the US since 2013 working as a dental assistant in NYC.

Viktoriya was drawn to massage therapy because she enjoys helping people feel better about themselves. Her goal is to help each of you achieve balance, relieve pain & tension, allowing you to live your life to the fullest.
